We had such a great experience working with Dorthe Havmoeller and would highly recommend her to anyone relocating to Charlotte or just looking to buy a new home in the area. We relocated from Philadelphia earlier this summer and Dorthe worked with us before we moved down here to find a rental that was right for us (enough space and located near our daycare – the only one in the city with openings!). Moving to a new state tends to be difficult. Issues tend to keep piling up one after another. One issue that we didn’t have to worry about was selling our house. Our realtor, Dorthe Havmoeller, allowed us to breathe easy. With her great understanding of the housing market, she developed a strategy on how to approach selling the house and recommendations on how to market the house.

She went above and beyond to sell our house and to make sure to handle any issues that arose. While we were in our new residence, any repairs that needed to be made with the house were taken care of by her. If that weren’t enough as it was, she would also pick up our mail and deliver it to our PO box weekly. It really went to show how she made a point to treat us like people and not just another customer.

Overall, I was able to worry about other moving logistics while she was handling the selling aspect. There was never a time where I thought, “my house may not sell”.
